Scope and Resources

.:. The CGJA has trained more than 3300 new grand jurors representing 50 counties
.:. More than twenty former grand jurors are trainers, many with education, business, legal and professional backgrounds. All have served on one or more grand juries.
.:. Guest Presenters include county executives, county counsels, county supervisor, city mayor, city attorney, investigators, school administrators, and executives from the California Special Districts Association, and the California Department of Corrections

Regional Training Seminar Cost is $85 per person. Registration fee covers:

.:. 14+ hours of training by experienced presenters
.:. 200+ page training manual containing presentation outlines, legal citations and reference material is provided to each juror
.:. Informational material supplied by guest speakers
.:. Additional Considerations Hotel accommodations at special rates of $84 - $109 single or double occupancy are available. First day begins at 9:00am and second day ends at 4:00pm to accommodate car pooling.
